Testing 123. Is this thing on?
Introducing a new brand, blog, and social all about accentuating our 1916 city home, Jill Wejman Co. I am excited to move forward with this new home on the Internet. I can’t wait to share all of the work we’ve done on our home, behind the scenes of making it happen, and the mistakes along the way.
The brand
Let’s talk about this brand for a minute. I used a semi-custom brand by Saffron Avenue to get started. As a graphic designer who designed multiple brands, I absolutely could have designed a brand but designing a brand for myself has always been a challenge. I have never had someone else do the design work so I decided to get out of my own head and go in this direction. I couldn’t be happier. The color palette represents colors used throughout our home design. The arched oval and arch type was inspired by the arches present in our home. The pattern shows up in furnishings passed down to me and the list goes on! It helped that the original semi-custom brand really spoke to me but I could not be happier with the end result.
What to expect
There are currently a ton of project ideas swirling around in my head and also as many unfinished projects in the works. The current project lineup is completing our second-floor bathroom refresh (the wallpaper…oh the wallpaper!), enclosing a built-in cube shelf to make it appear that it’s always been there, and creating built-in storage in our 7-year-old’s bedroom. Check out this post to see all of our home goals along with some personal ones for this year.
